This is a very poor photo of our battery area. I took it from one of the hills above us. (North is to the right. Battalion and charlie battery were down the valley to the left.) After the fighting ended most of the battery moved into tents but kept the old bunkers for safety. They were not pushed down until august of '54. Notice the vehicles were disbursed as a safety measure.

The battery was self supporting by having its own: cooks, wire section, radio section, mechanics, drivers, supply dept, survey section and medic. Battalion had all of this also including an aid station but we were set up to act independently. I believe there were about 125 to 150 in the battery when I joined it.
