 Lucy with Blocks Lucy likes to dump out her lego blocks, climb into the empty box and then ask us to fill it back up with blocks with her inside.  [12:16 PM, 6:54]

  Throwing the Ball Outside in the driveway, throwing the ball for Kirby and just generally playing in the dirt.  [4:23 PM, 4:54] 
  Sticks and Rocks Pick up interesting looking sticks and rocks in the driveway.  [4:28 PM, 2:28] 
  More Driveway Play Lucy continues exploring in the driveway, until her shoe comes off--which Daddy helps her with.  [6:13 PM, 2:27]

 Herding the Popper Great fun as Kirby "herds" the little push popper, as Lucy runs around the kitchen island with it.  [8:39 PM, 8:13]

 Talking About Dogs We spent a couple of hours at a local dog agility event and Lucy had a lot of fun "meeting" various dogs.  Here we talk about the different dogs that we met, while in the car and heading home.  [11:21 AM, 3:05] 
  Goldfish on the Knee When Lucy comes home each day in the car with Joana, and Joana gives her some goldfish crackers, Lucy always insists that Joana place them on her knee.  Often, which knee they should go on alternates.  Here, she specifies where they should go, as I give her crackers on the way home.  [11:26 AM, 2:17] 
  Open Door Daddy Lucy, sporting very cool shades, asks me to open the door for her.  When I don't help her out, she pushes on it herself, grunting and heaving.  [5:13 PM, 1:23] 
  Interview on Stairs Chatting again with Lucy about dogs that we saw today.  [5:15 PM, 1:22] 
  Playing with Dogs We eventually get outside and spend some time playing with Jack and Kirby.  Lucy enjoys going in and out of the kennel.  [5:24 PM, 2:22]

 Watering Flowers Lucy helps water some flowers by the front porch.  [6:09 PM, 1:40]

 Three Chairs Lucy spends some time arranging plastic chairs on the porch.  We then throw a stick for Kirby.  [8:10 AM, 3:36] 
  Walking Down Stairs Lucy demonstrates how she can now walk down the stairs without help, holding onto the railing.  [7:11 PM, 1:05] 

 

 Up and Down Lucy plays with Kirby, throwing a balled up pair of socks for him to fetch.  She also enjoys waving the socks quickly in an up and down motion and laughing uncontrollably as Kirby follows them, with his head wagging up and down.  [8:21 PM, 2:19]

 Waiting to Board We drove out to Osceola, WI on Sunday to go on a 90-min train ride--on the Osceola and St. Croix Valley Railway.  The train consisted of an old diesel engine and a number of old passenger cars dating from roughly the 1940s.  Lucy was just giddy with excitement.  [10:42 AM, :49] 
  Choo Choo Lucy had a great time on the train.  We found the one air-conditioned car, which turned out to be nearly empty.  So we had several seats to ourselves.  [11:47 AM, 2:25] 
  Baggage Car We stood in the baggage car for a while, enjoying the sounds and the breeze blowing into the open doorways.  [11:58 AM, :47] 
  Sitting with Mom Back in the passenger car, Joana and Lucy sit together and watch the scenery glide past.  [12:11 PM, 1:26] 
  Bye Bye Canoe We watched some more scenery, including several canoes down on the river below us.  Here Lucy says, "Bye Bye Canoe".  [12:14 PM, 1:59]
