We drove to a local nursery to pick
out a Christmas tree. It was also only Lucy's second time in a Winter
coat and boots. (The gloves were just too much work to get on).

On Sunday, we ran a bunch of
Christmas-related errands, and decided on a whim to visit Toys 'R Us.
Lucy had a wonderful time, running through the store and looking at all the
cool toys. Her favorite aisle, by far, was the one with all the
powered toy cars and vehicles.

Grandma Irene ("avo") arrived on
Wednesday night from Portugal. Lucy was excited to see her, after
talking to her on the Internet camera all the time. She knew her "avo"
right away, saying "avo" and pointing to her.
