We met in Leuven, Belgium in 1998, where Joana was working on her doctorate and Sean was temporarily located for work.  Leuven is just Southeast of Brussels, in the Flemish-speaking part of Belgium.  Joana and Jack had a nice house with a little garden in the back.

Sean and Fonske Fonske represents the student population of Leuven.		In Brussels Brussels is a 45-min train ride away from Leuven.
