Boat and tractor,  13-Nov-2004.

Shots of tarp framework for boat and new tractor Klondike.

With the arrival of Klondike, the boat will spend the Winter outdoors.  I built a framework that will better support a tarp over the boat.

The project today will be to continue work on the posthole digger A-frame structure.

Building posthole digger frame,  14-Nov-2004.

Before I can remove the posthole digger from the 3-pt hitch, I need to build a framework to hang the PH digger from (you can't just set it down).  The framework is fairly heavy, made of green treated 4x4's and a 4x6 beam.  Klondike proved invaluable in hauling the A-frame pieces around and in making assembly of the frame much easier.

Hauling the second half of the A-frame out of the garage.  I used the shed to prop up one side of the A-frame and the tractor bucket to hold up the other side. The tractor barely feels the weight of the A-frame.

Klondike easily carries a structure that I had a hard time just lifting.
